Copyright on the platform
We honor the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act. If your work is being used without authorization, you can file a takedown. If your content was removed and you believe the takedown was wrong, you can file a counter-notice.
File a takedown
Use this if your copyrighted work appears on the platform without your permission.
Submit takedownFile a counter-notice
Use this if your content was removed and you believe the takedown was incorrect.
File counter-noticeHow it works
- 1. A rights holder files a takedown via /takedown/submit.
- 2. A complete, good-faith notice triggers expedient removal.
- 3. The uploader can dispute via /takedown/counter.
- 4. If no court action is filed within 10–14 business days, content is restored.
- 5. Three strikes terminates the channel. Copyright strikes expire after 90 days; animal-cruelty strikes never expire.
